The Strongest Shape

I've been reading the m/m/m romance "The Strongest Shape" by Tessa Cárdenas.  She tells the story of two strong and silent types who love one another but rely on the third in their tri-fold love to be their peacemaker and communicator.  I have to share perhaps the best line yet.

To set the scene, I'll tell you that all three are at a very intimate, casual gathering.  Used to Chris being aggressively overprotective of his long-time boyfriend (Scott), a straight male pal watches Chris admiring Scott and Caleb kiss.  To another onlooker, the friend relays his surprise at Chris's positive reaction as if the three lovers can't hear them.  Chris finally responds and I adore the veiled threat when you know the character.

"Go make out with your girlfriend before I start thinking you'd rather be with my boys."

  1. Oh, I'm so glad you're reading this. I hope you keep enjoying it.

That reminds me, there's a sequel to a different story I need to go look for on Dreamspinner.

Have fun with the story, Darla!
