Since I'm still working a day job outside the home, here is what I hope for on an average day in the future:
1. Wake early without an alarm
2. Write three Artist’s Way morning pages first thing and use the exercise as something other than a catalog of the mundane
3. Stroll through a sparkling clean house for a glass of water
4. Feed my fish and find my mysteriously missing Betta
5. Work up a good sweat over aerobic exercise or weightlifting
6. Shower and have my hair turn out looking spectacular
7. Take my spouse out to breakfast
8. Return home feeling free to lock myself away in my sanctuary/office
9. Write a thousand words toward an official publishing deadline
10. Eat a light lunch while watching a recorded episode of “Burn Notice” or “The Walking Dead”
11. Work on correspondence and promotion until dinnertime
12. Reconnect with my work-from-home partner over some tasty dinner and a bottle of wine, either at home or out somewhere
13. Watch a movie and/or read a book with a cat on the lap until bedtime

Sounds like a perfect sort of day. Hope you find that missing Beta fish.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely life. That's odd about your fish. You wouldn't happen to have a cat, would you? lo
ReplyDeleteHappy T13!
1 and 3 would be wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get there!
ReplyDeleteI struck out at number one. As soon as the kids were out of school, we all turned into night owls.
ReplyDeleteYou have a cat, so I think I've discovered where you missing beta went to. ;p
ReplyDeleteJanice~
Even half of these would make a perfect day! I wish that you get them all. *smile*
ReplyDeleteHappy TT,
