Thursday Thirteen - Jelly Belly Flavors

Out of all the flavors available in these incredible beans, I'm going to list thirteen favorites.

Orange Sherbet

Watermelon

Coconut

Cinnamon

Cappuccino

Strawberry Jam

Tutti-Fruitti

Caramel Corn

Raspberry

Toasted Marshmallow

Strawberry Cheesecake

Bubblegum

Buttered Popcorn

The final is my favorite. What might yours be? And can somebody tell me how they isolate these realistic flavors? I have a forty-nine flavor variety package at home and none of the tastes contaminate the others. That's almost as amazing as the realism!

How do they keep the flavors from mingling in the bag?

  1. Mmm...coconut! I'm more partial to the fruit flavors, with coconut leading the way.

  3. My daughter loves Jelly Belly. I buy them for her and she gives me the cherry. My favorite is the cherry and my lest favorite is cinnamon, which is funny because I really like cinnamon but just not in a jelly belly.

  4. It has to do with the way the flavor interacts with the base. They work hard to keep the coating and flavors to stay separate. It's all very scientific.

I'm not a huge fan; I prefer chocolates. But I like lime. Root beer is good too.

  5. I love the Watermelon and Bubble gum! Course they have sugar in them so I pretty much will eat them all.
